This blog is for all of those in Wisconsin interested in Life of an Athlete. This blog is so we can share ideas and materials. We will also include information when John Underwood will be here and our state-wide trainings.

Life of An Athlete: Wisconsin 2-day state training

LIFE OF AN ATHLETE
A 2-day state-wide training to improve team dynamics and school pride.
With an emphasis on:
Improved school athletic performance.
Higher team standards and leadership.
Stronger community involvement and support.
Athletic conference networking.

SAVE THE DATE...REGISTRATION WILL OPEN IN JANUARY.
Any school district, coalition or youth sports organization interested in addressing the
effectiveness of their activities code are invited to attend. Whatever the readiness all are welcome.

Keynote speaker will be John Underwood, President of the American Athletic Institute.
Learn what various Wisconsin schools and communities are doing to implement the
Life of an Athlete Program. Have time to take a serious look at your own codes
and how to have a stronger commitment to your programs.

Dates:
Wednesday, April 13, 2011 ž 10am-5pm
Thursday, April 14, 2011 ž 8:30am-3:00pm

Location:
Lambeau Field, Green Bay

Registration (Includes 2-day training, materials and lunch):
$75/person up to 2 people.
$225/team of 3-5 members.

$50/each additional team member 

(RECOMMENDATIONS FOR  A TEAM include School Administrator or School Board Member, Athletic Director,
1 male coach, 1 female coach, and community Member)

Note: Recommended community member to bring is a Prevention Coalition Member, Athletic Trainer,
Police Officer, Police Liaison Officer, Booster Club Member, Parent, Student Athlete)

NOTE: On average it will cost $400 to send one person to New York for their Summer or Winter Session.
Versus $225 for a team of 5 to the Wisconsin state-wide training.
